Song for Thriller Intro
I think that my original music ideas are not as thriller-styled as they should be, and the film may be perceived as another genre of film. Due to this I have been researching jazz music and have found some modern jazz music which speeds up (shows tension building) which would be perfect for our thriller introduction.
Match On Action, Shot/Reverse Shot & The 180º Rule
Match On Action- occurs when an action continues in another shot. This occurs in both our continuity task and thriller introduction.
Shot/Reverse Shot- when characters appear to be looking at each other, but are not in the same shot. We could use this in one of our thriller scenes where there is a conversation at a table.
The 180º Rule- this is when there is an imaginary axis which the camera should not pass over, otherwise it could confuse the audience. I have put this line/axis in on the shooting maps for both our continuity task and thriller introduction.
